Each year, Rise Up Academy (RUA) relies upon events like the gala to help fund school operations.
For this, our 25th Anniversary Gala, we have our sights set higher than ever.
RUA is on the verge of undergoing a major renovation at its Everett
campus. The plan is to build a new 10,000 square foot school and early
learning center on the property, replacing the existing
nearly-60-year-old school building - a facility that is inadequately
sized and near the end of its lifespan.
With this expansion, we will be providing the same high-quality
education we’ve always provided, but we’ll be able to serve twice as
many children as we do now! With this growth, we will be able to provide
even more resources, such as state-of-the-art learning
materials, technology, and specialized programs tailored to meet the
unique needs of each child.
The cost of this entire project is around $7 million and as an
organization, we have raised about half of that between grants and other
fundraising. In order to be ready for construction and to ensure that
this dream becomes a reality, we have set our goal
for this event at $4 million, covering the remainder of what we need.
We need your help, as well as that of all the new partnerships we have
been forging with local community organizations, schools, and parents to
make all of this happen. We agree with the famous saying that “it takes
a village” and so we constantly work at fostering
a collaborative approach to early childhood development.
There are several ways to show your support: You can register to attend
the Gala as an individual/couple or you can choose to become a Table
Sponsor and recruit friends and associates to join with you. You can
also donate an item or experience to the auction
that we’ll be having on this website. Everything helps!
